Twilight Jewelry: Hottest Among the Movie's Roster of Merchandise

Two days to go before the much-awaited showing of Twilight Saga: Eclipse. I'm sure theaters from around the world would once again be jam-packed; and stores selling Twilight merchandise would most definitely register sky-rocketing sales.

Now, with the anticipated surge in demand for Twilight merchandise, I got curious as to which from among the movie's various items (not including the book itself) would be the most sought after. So, to appease my inquisitive urges, I checked out Google's ever reliable Insights for Search tool, and compared interests for the 5 major Twilight products -- t-shirt, jewelry, tumbler, puzzle, collectibles -- being offered. Here is a glimpse of the result:



Not surprisingly, jewelry topped the list, in terms of interests generated from 2004 up to this date. T-shirt came it at a respectable second, while puzzles came in at third. Hmm... Makes me wonder, could this high interest enjoyed by jewelry be an indication of a high fan base by the movie amongst the ladies? Interesting...

I know that this blog is about buying twilight merchandise online; but I guess I can't help but marvel at the magnitude of the popularity of the film behind the huge hype for the merchandise. Besides, what's the use of a good product if there's no strong marketing to generate the demand?!
